Here is the “Old and Busted” SX-5. For the moment, it is relegated to the corner and forced to think about it’s errant ways.

Here you can see the new Nautel XR-6, along with the ancillary equipment rack, the HD/HD2 equipment rack , and the Nautel V10 HD transmitter.

Here is the RCA BTA-5R1, which provided a month of service while we removed the SX5, and installed the XR6.

Grounding is VERY important with new solid-state transmitters. Notice the tight spacing of the ball gap. I’ve also swapped out the braided copper ground with solid copper strap, and added four ground rods, and attached them to the ground system. These will be welded on shortly.
